Brett Hush is the Senior Vice President of Tactical Systems at AEVEX Aerospace, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in unmanned and precision strike systems. Before joining AEVEX in September 2025, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Loitering Munition Systems at AeroVironment, Inc., where he founded and scaled the business unit responsible for the Switchblade family of systems, guiding it from inception to multi-service adoption.

His career reflects a consistent focus on advancing mission-critical capabilities and delivering systems at scale to U.S. and allied defense forces.

As Senior Vice President of Tactical Systems at AEVEX, Brett leads strategy, product development, and growth initiatives across the company’s portfolio of unmanned aircraft and multi-mission USVs, including the Atlas launched effect, Disruptor and Dominator Group III systems, and the Mako and Mako Lite unmanned surface vessels.
