Engineering and Certification
AEVEX has an extensive engineering staff with expertise in all aspects of aircraft design and certification. In addition to supporting in-house projects, our engineering team provides design, analysis, testing, repair and certification services for customers all over the world. Our certification staff has experience with a wide variety of authorities including FAA, Transport Canada, foreign CAA, and a number of U.S. and foreign government agencies.

Our innovative engineering team provides unmatched expertise in the development of new aircraft products and modifications. Having successfully completed hundreds of unique product development programs, AEVEX’s DESIGN – BUILD – FLY process ensures an end result that exceeds expectations.

Modifications, Manufacturing, Heavy Maintenance, and Major Repairs
AEVEX has a wide range of experience in modifying, manufacturing, and maintaining airframe structures. From unpressurized aluminum fuselages, to high tech metallic and composite jet aircraft including radomes, flight controls and primary structures, AEVEX has touched a variety of aircraft. Our facilities are geared for supporting aircraft modifications, STC development, and systems integration. Our Professional Staff includes in-house DER, DAR, and DMIR personnel and a team of over one hundred technicians and engineers. AEVEX is an FAA certified Repair Station, with Transport Canada and EASA validations.

Certifications
Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO)
AEVEX’s Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) supports modification, fabrication, major repair, and heavy maintenance for a wide variety of aircraft. We operate under US FAA Certified Repair Station Number JRPR350F with Repair Station validations from Transport Canada, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and other civil aviation authorities worldwide.
AEVEX has developed and integrated several missionization packages for the DHC-6-400 “Guardian 400”
Parts Manufacturing
AEVEX holds parts manufacturing approval (FAA PMA No. PQ2142NM) for many of our Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) products. AEVEX also manufactures a variety of components, assemblies, parts packages, and modification kits for specific customer requirements. As experienced “aircraft people,” we tailor our in-house manufacturing and fabrication capabilities to efficiently meet customers requirements whether to support a special “one-of-a-kind” experimental aircraft or type certificated aircraft.
Engineering Certification
AEVEX’s in-house engineering department develops design, analysis, and certification data for our proprietary products and customer projects. We pride ourselves with the ability to solve complex problems with unique solutions. Our certification staff, including several in-house Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs), are authorized to provide compliance findings on behalf of the FAA.
Airworthiness Certification
AEVEX’s in-house FAA Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DAR) and FAA Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) provide examinations, conformity inspections, export approvals, and aircraft airworthiness certification. Our many years of experience and expertise, assure successful airworthiness certification for our customers’ programs.
