AEVEX Aerospace, a full-spectrum provider of innovative aircraft and advanced technological solutions across a broad range of government and commercial clients, announced today it has been selected as part of the SMX team to support the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) providing processing exploitation and dissemination (PED) services on the AFRICOM Reconnaissance Intelligence Exploitation Services (ARIES) task order. AEVEX will place highly experienced aerospace intelligence analysts within multiple countries on the African continent over the next seven years, providing critical PED resources to support manned and unmanned platforms, as well as supplying post mission products that include the fusion of multiple intelligence types with open-source intelligence. The award comes as Unified Combatant Commands stress the need for increased capabilities of command, control, communications, computer, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR).
“We are honored to engage with our mission client through the ARIES project,” said Robert Horky, Chief Growth Officer at AEVEX Aerospace. Horky continued, “AEVEX is committed to delivering actionable information as our analysts process collected intelligence in near real-time while aircraft are on mission. Transnational threat networks are expanding in Africa and threaten the stability of the continent; our support of expeditionary PED operations within the AFRICOM theater will help negate these drivers of conflict.”
