ROBERT RITZ

Robert Ritz, the son, grandson, and great grandson of Army officers attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and graduated in 2002. Upon his graduation he entered the US Army as an Armor Officer and was assigned to 2-72 AR in Korea from 2002-2004. Elements of 2-72 AR deployed to Ramadi Iraq with 1-9 IN from 2004-2005. Upon redeployment to the United States, Robert attended the Maneuver Captain’s Career Course in Fort Knox, KY and then took command of Crazy Troop, 1/9 CAV, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood (Now Fort Cavazos). Robert deployed to Maysan Province, Iraq in 2008-2009 where he conducted security and reconnaissance operations along the Iran/Iraq border. Robert’s final assignment was at the National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, VA where he was an Armor Systems Intelligence Analyst and eventually the Deputy Program Manager of the Counterinsurgency Targeting Program (CITP). Robert left active service in 2012 with the rank of Major. Robert has been an AEVEX employee since 2018 working various intelligence support contracts and is currently assigned as a Senior Program Manager in McLean, VA.
