GSA ASTRO is a family of 10 separate, individual Multiple Award (MA), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts that encompass a variety of services related to manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics.  ASTRO is sponsored by the Department of Defense and managed by GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management (FEDSIM) Center. The scope of these IDIQ contracts includes mission operations, maintenance, development, systems integration, support, and research and development supporting platforms on land, sea, air, and space.

Data Operations    

Performance of Data Operations including all data collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination activities associated with manned, unmanned, and optionally manned platforms and robotics supporting mission performance. This includes traditional labor services as well as support “as a service”.

AEVEX has extensive experience in all aspects of data operations, providing airborne flight operations support, data collection, and intelligence analysis.  We have a deep bench of pilots, sustainment personnel, airborne operators, and intelligence experts with institutional knowledge of airborne platforms; intelligence systems; established tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs); and a deep understanding of the tasking, collection, processing, exploitation and dissemination (TCPED) cycle to provide high quality intelligence support.  

Research 

All Research & Development associated with manned, unmanned, optionally manned, and counter Unmanned Systems (UxS) platforms.

AEVEX has extensive experience providing research, development, testing, and fielding of various manned and unmanned special mission platforms.  We have been instrumental in inserting/migrating new technologies and supporting quick-reaction capability programs. AEVEX’s Test and Training Range (ATTR) supports in-house test capability to provide end-to-end system development and test services to meet demanding requirements and aggressive timelines.
